Insurance & Investment in Care

Embodied Wisdom Psychotherapy offers both insurance-based and self-pay options. Weekly psychotherapy may be covered by insurance, while self-pay services provide greater flexibility in the length, pace, and structure of treatment.

Insurance Coverage

I currently participate with the following insurance plans:

  • Aetna

  • Blue Cross Blue Shield

  • Harvard Pilgrim

  • Medicare

  • Optum

  • Tufts

Insurance coverage varies by plan. Please contact your insurance provider directly to confirm your mental health benefits, any out-of-pocket costs, and my participation in your specific plan.

If I am not in network with your insurance plan, I can provide a superbill that you may submit for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Reimbursement is determined by your individual plan and is not guaranteed.

Investment in Care

Fees reflect the advanced training, clinical preparation, and individualized attention involved in providing specialized, trauma-informed care.

Specialized Psychotherapy

  • 55-minute session: $200

  • 85–90-minute extended session: $300

  • Initial evaluation, 75–90 minutes: $300

Therapy Intensives

  • 3-hour intensive: $900

  • 4-hour intensive: $1,200

  • 6-hour intensive: $1,800

I participate with insurance plans for traditional weekly psychotherapy. Therapy intensives are offered as a specialized self-pay service, allowing the length, structure, and focus of treatment to be guided by your individual needs and therapeutic goals.

Finding the Right Approach

Schedule a consultation to discuss your goals and explore whether weekly psychotherapy, an extended psychotherapy session, or a therapy intensive may best support your needs.
